The Gaslight District is an upcoming Australian-Canadian animated Dark Fantasy crime web series created by Nick Szopko (aka PartTimeSeagull) and produced by GLITCH Productions, marking the latter’s third collaborative effort and fifth series overall. The pilot is currently in production, with no release date given as of yet.
Plot details are scarce at the moment, but the show is set on an island of cursed, immortal criminals and follows one particular gang, the Smiling Dead.

The Gaslight District includes examples of the following:
- After the End: In the GLITCHX footage, an offscreen voice whispers of how the world as they knew it ended long ago.
- Glowing Eyes: As the GLITCHX footage begins, the only source of light is from the glowing eyes of the characters on screen.
- Mafia Princess: According to her character artwork, Melancholy Hill is a mafia princess.
- Painted CGI: After all of Glitch’s previous shows were made with traditional CG animation with a few occasional 2D elements, this series, going off the GLITCHX teaser, features a more 2D-like aesthetic.
- The Prophecy: At the start of the GLITCHX footage, the first character onscreen whispers something about a prophecy.
- Tombstone Teeth: The characters seen in the GLITCHX footage all have exposed, long, unsettling teeth.
