Predicting the plot of “A Heist with Markiplier”

This entire theory is based on the assumption that the train incident that Wilford referred to in “Wilford ‘MOTHERLOVING’ Warfstache” and the upcoming entry in the series “A Heist with Markiplier”, are one and the same.

In some year in some place Mark hires The Thief (you) to commit a heist from a train that is carrying valuable goods. Along the way the group will decide they need a third person to help them, so then Wilford will appear from the shadows with a suavey line such as “You rang? It’s a good thing you called when you did. I was almost out of data.” (Referencing that fact that Wilford is out of time.) There will be a sequence where the group plans the heist, cutting back and forth from the planning room to the train itself. When The Thief (you) boards the train, you notice a figure clad in plaid smoking a cigar, and it is revealed to be the detective. You decide to shrug this off, considering it unimportant. You have much bigger fish to fry.

The group goes about their heist plan, and for the most part it continues to be successful, but soon enough the detective finds out what you are doing and tries to stop you from stealing what is in the train. Presumably you fight with wacky comical hijinks ensuing in the background and the foreground. Meanwhile Mark (and or Wilford, not sure exactly what his role is during this part, he could just disappear for awhile until he becomes relevant again, IDK?) sneaks away while the two of you are duking it out. When you stop fighting you notice Mark in the treasure room and it turns out he wasn’t after money at all, he was after something that would make him more powerful, stronger than the likes of Wilford or Damien. After all, how is a hero supposed to defeat the villain without going through a tough challenge? That’s right, Mark set up this whole adventure so he would be able to fulfill his self-proclaimed role as a hero. Upon finding out his plan, the group bands together to fight against Mark One. Last. Time.

The ending could go a few different ways:

1. The group fails to even scratch Mark now that he has the power-magnifying object, then Darkiplier shows up saying that he can’t let Mark do this because “Life is ours to choose!” and they have a very climactic battle that would end with either Dark or Mark winning.

2. Wilford betrays the group, revealing that he was on the side of Dark the whole time. After all, “Life needs a bit of madness!” Then Abe shrugs and joins Dark as well saying something about how he recently learned to just go with the flow. The Thief (you), looks at Mark, Wilford, and Abe before the screen turns black.

3. It looks like the group stands no chance against Mark, but then Dark shows up in a BigDamnHeroes moment and proceeds to deliver a CurbStompBattle to Mark, who proceeds to retreat claiming that you will regret this, that he’ll come back, stronger, and soon you will understand; “Life is for the living!”

4. This final ending is pure head-cannon and I am pretty sure that it won’t happen at all, but notice how each ending highlights a particular person? There will be multiple endings similar to “A Date with Markiplier” where you get to choose whose ending, whose perception of reality you wish to see. Yes, In this scenario it is impossible to tell what really happened because everyone has their own perception of what really happened that day. This will leave it ambiguous who you should really trust and the video will end there, leaving you with a feeling of uncertainty as you question just how much of what you saw was really real, just like Abe did in “Wilford ‘MOTHERLOVING’ Warfstache”.

  • Sadly Jossed. The heist in A Heist with Markiplier is not the train incident, there are 31 endings, and only one of those endings connect to Who Killed Markiplier? at all.
