How Solar Flare "borrowed" Boyfriend's microphone

So there's this Noodle Incident in the mod in which Solar Fare repeatedly says that she "borrowed" Boyfriend's mic and, in fact, it's even in her entry in the almanac. According to her in Week 3, she did it with his consent, though Night Cap and Green Shadow don't believe her. But Adam Advisor thinks that she's, in fact, telling the truth, as he says she wouldn't dig herself deeper in that topic if it was just stealing. Now, I have two theories about this, but before I continue, if something like this becomes either fully or half-right (or just ends up having some elements of truth here and there), there might be some potential Spoilers for the future updates (and I'm also covering actual spoilers from the V3 update), so be cautious if you want to read it.

My two theories are one that's tragic and the other that's not so much, respectively. So I think either:

1. Solar took Boyfriend's microphone when he died before he was turned into a zombie, and she "borrowed" it as a Tragic Keepsake or because he was just not gonna use it anymore (maybe "with his consent" being referred to Boyfriend's soul telling her to use it, him telling her before he died, or her lying in that part, specifically).
2. Solar took Boyfriend's microphone while he was already a zombie, so stealing it didn't really mattered to her since zombies are plant's enemies.

Now it most likely could've been the latter, since she was seen happy in the Tutorial week instead of the other way around, but if it was the former, Solar must've been using a mask to hide her true deep sad feelings and was using a positive persona just to either forget about that tragic day or just not show it to others, or she's just a psychopath.

However, there's also the fact that Boyfriend, now a zombie in Zomboss' army, read the news about Solar becoming a local famous rapper, got pissed and broke the newspaper. If it was the latter case, is more than obvious why he did it; but if it was the former case, it could be that he was either just acting savage because of his zombie state, regretted his decision to give her the mic, got angry because Solar took it after he died, or was just filled with negative emotions. After all, it's more likely he's a Revenant Zombie, given how he acts in the final cutscene, and revenants come to life because, besides the intervention of outer sources like, in this case, Zomboss' zombification method, they're also filled with strong emotions, and more commonly negative ones.
