Whatever happens, the series will end with a world-wide disaster.
Possibly the so-called "rape zombie apocalypse" from Arachnid again, though so far the wasps aren't fueled by sex like the ants in that series.
  • Jossed; no catastrophe happens in the ending.
Some random girl will become a new Queen at the very end of the story.
  • Jossed.
The random mention of termite evolution when Serena is talking about her Media soldiers is actually setting up something for Blattodea.
Himenospia mainly has a Hymenoptera theme, so a wasp queen bringing up the Blattodea order in the middle of a clear throwback to the Army Ants from Arachnid while its sequel is in progress is rather suspicious.
It was aliens.
  • IT WAS ALIENS! In the ending, turns out the wasps are from outer space...
The story will be tied to Majo ni Ataeru Tettsui (which Serena's design is reused from) like Arachnid is tied to Jackals.
  • Jossed.
The "Sovereign" has a soldier's sting despite being a Queen because she went through not one but multiple brain transplants to survive from World War II until the present day.
This would both be a payoff to the whole Brain Transplant thing and a parallel to the Boss from Arachnid having to replace her Suzumebachi "hosts" over the decades, as well as it meaning "Nagisa" was dead all along much like the "Yoriko" Alice knew didn't actually exist.
  • Jossed; the Sovereign looks the same as usual in her backstory and simply expected all queens to have the same kind of sting as her.
