Captain Warrington's Play Maze is a horror game developed by Zed_Technician.

Ashley and Penny work in a restaurant recognized with the mascot called Captain Warrington. However, the play maze in the restaurant holds a dark secret, one they've been trying to mitigate. When a child is discovered to have entered the tube mazes, the two women had to take matters into their own hands to find the child and stop the mascot from claiming another victim.

Time is of the essence, and they'll have to act quick before the pirate mascot catches them.

Captain Warrington's Play Maze contains these examples:

  • Bright Is Not Good: The tube maze in the restaurant has bright colors that would suggest something fun for children to play in. However, something turned the maze into a pathway to another version of the restaurant where Captain Warrington tries to trap his victims.
  • Corporate Conspiracy: The Whistleblower's notes reveal that Warring Burger has been dabbling in unethical (and possibly supernatural) means to bring more customers to their restaurant, including using the creation of the mascot to compel customers to return.
  • Eldritch Location: The tube mazes. It consists of seven Warring Burger replicas, with twisting tube mazes between each, and if you can't navigate a maze in 12 minutes, you're trapped until Warrington finds you. If you do manage to reach the seventh stratum, level 0, it's a straight shot out to the real Warring Burger, and the time you spent in there will have been significantly less than it felt like. Just don't go in the supply closet in 6 if you're a child.
  • Missing Child: The plot proper is kicked off when Ashley and Penny notice the gate closing the play maze is open and a child disappeared into the maze, prompting one of them to take action.
  • Multiple Endings: How the game ends depend on whether you choose Ashley or Penny as the active character going into the maze, and whether they make it out of the maze without getting caught by Warrington.
    • In the Good Ending, Ashley or Penny successfully escape the tube mazes and Captain Warrington with Albert in tow and return him to his worried sick mother. After mother and child leave, the two have a talk about what happened, with Ashley expressing concern that they can't keep mitigating the situation with the Captain forever and Penny sharing the sentiment with the knowledge that they won't be able to stop the company where they are now.
    • In the Bad Ending, once the timer runs out and they can't find their way out, Captain Warrington catches Ashley or Penny, and one of them - along with the child - is no longer seen again. When confronted, Warring Burger denies any wrongdoing because of the incident.
  • World-Weary Waitress: Ashley works in Warring Burger, has a lot to complain about working in the establishment, and is friends with Penny.
