Al Ciao is a straight male. Just getting that out of the way, since that comes up a lot on the forums. He is over 20 but under 30, and that is all he is gonna say about his age.
I have a great sense of humor. At least, I am endlessly entertaining to myself. I also do not get insulted easily. However, I do my best not to offend anyone. I am a nerd, especially with comic books, Star Wars, and RP Gs. My favorite type of setting is what I term space fantasy. Basically, in space with high technology, but also fantastical themes and elements such as magic. Examples: Star Wars, Warhammer 40,000, DC/Marvel Comics.
I am an amateur writer. I love brainstorming, and I love the finished product, but the actual writing is what I get hung up on. Hence I have few finished stories. I do not ever intend to seek publication; that is just not something I am interested in, which seems to baffle people. Currently brainstorming a story called The Twelve Labors of Mychael Strangefate.

- check it out! We always welcome new writers and readers. It is a casual, zany story about bumbling heroes. Half the humor comes from the fact that the characters KNOW they are in a story. It runs the gamut from grandiose and melodramatic to off the wall, so it accomodates any style. Do not feel intimidated by its size. Just start with the most recent page. There is a summary of where the story is ar,t the top of that page, and you cqn read down from there.
But do not let me stop you if you want to read the whole thing! It's a treat. Also, has nothing to do with the movie, though we have spoofed it.
I also enjoy video games, particularly RP Gs. But not, as a rule, JRP Gs. Ugh.
I'm also not a big anime fan (gasp!). Don't dislike it particularly, just not into it.
