• Follow the Leader: Boney's inspiration for the quest was reading earlier Warhammer Quests that centered around a ruler with a council of advisors and wondering about the influence of an advisor, about how they could be offering certain options they were in favor of or not offering others that they didn't want- the quest title 'Divided Loyalties' was about how every advisor would have their own agenda for how and what they advise.
• Humble Beginnings: The first vote in the quest had a total of 24 voters, which is fairly typical for a brand-new quest by an author that has not posted on the site before. Currently, the quest holds the site record for a vote at 663 votes to decide what job Mathilde would take after returning from the Karag Dum Expedition, has the longest thread of any active quest along with the most views, and was awarded Best Ongoing Quest on Sufficient Velocity in 2021.
• Line to God: As part of posting the quest Boney has an account on the site and actively responds to questions and comments in the thread. He has said that he's read every post in the thread, which is something impressive given that there's over 14,000 pages in the thread at 25 posts a page, and a post-update discussion can easily generate 1000 posts in the span of a day.
• Loads and Loads of Writers: The quest itself has only been written by Boney, but the Apocrypha tab of the threadmarks has almost 500 short stories totaling almost 500,000 words written by dozens of members of the thread as fan-content of the quest itself.
• Referenced by...: When Boney needed to fill out a list of the past heads of the Colleges of Magic, he filled in holes in the list with some references to other quests- Agatha and Alisa from A Dynasty of Dynamic Alcoholism, Sigmarella from Warhammer Dynasty, and Erika Kurtsdottir from Of Wolves and Witches.
