• California Doubling: Averted Trope. The film is set in New Orleans and was also shot there, for the most part.
• Early-Bird Release: Released on most U.S. digital video platforms (except Apple's iTunes Store) on October 20th following the closure of some theater chains in the country.
• Fake American: Like so often before, Aussie Russell Crowe plays an American, as does his co-star Caren Pistorius.
• Release Date Change: Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the film's release date has been all over the place. According to The Other Wiki, it went something like 08/28/20 -> 09/04/20 -> 07/01/20 -> 07/10/20 -> 07/31/20 -> 08/21/20 (the actual release date). Notably, it's possibly the only film that opened theatrically earlier than intended before the pandemic, as the studio appeared set on ensuring the film's would accompany the reopening of theaters and consistently scheduled it two weeks before the various planned openings of Tenet.
• Short Run in Peru: Premiered in numerous European countries, Singapore and Vietnam in July (beginning with Germany on July 16th) and Canada on August 14th before arriving in the US on August 21st.
