• Acting for Two: Luci Christian voices both Haiji's humanoid form and Hikaru Midō.
• The Nth Doctor: In the English dub, Haiji's cat and humanoid forms had different actresses with Gwendolyn Lau as the former and Luci Christian (also Hikaru's actress) as the latter.
• The Other Darrin: The unnamed section editor from Hiromi's workplace was voiced by Andrew Cross in episodes 7 and 9 but was replaced by Jim Foronda in episode 16.
• Playing Against Type: John Burgmeier as the insectoid, raspy-voiced vampire Jeda. He normally plays the formal pretty boy, stoic warrior, or nice guys and if he does play a villain, they are normally an anti-villain or at least one with some standards.^note John has voiced some enemy grunts in shows such as Dragon Ball Z
