The Company

  • Creator Backlash: Out of all the games Treasure have made, the only one that they were not happy with was the Japan-only Dragon Drive: D-Masters Shot, a tie-in to an anime. Even to this day, it's the only game they've made that they refuse to acknowledge on their site besides the two Tiny Toon Adventures video games that they made (one of which never got a Japanese release, and the other didn't get an official release at all).
  • Creator Killer: The absolute failure of the Gaist Crusher series, which was a joint collaboration between Capcom and Treasure for a cross media franchise targeted towards children, caused the company to go inactive for the rest of the 2010s and much of their remaining staff to leave. No new games have been released since then, and every port of their existing games were handled by other companies rather than done in-house. However, during their 30th anniversary, the company announced on Twitter that they're making a comeback with a highly requested title, which turned out to be a Switch port of Radiant Silvergun.

The Cartoon

  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The series never saw a home release, and therefore it was considered lost media for the longest time. However, recordings of various episodes have since made their way to Youtube and other parts of the internet.
  • Write Who You Know: The newspaper column and book that inspired the series, and by extension the series itself, are based on author Michele Hanson's experiences with raising her daughter Amy, who at the time was also a troublesome teenager. Hanson even affectionately referred to Amy as her "treasure".
