• Channel Hop: The TV series originally aired on Fuji TV, the TV specials from 1998 and 2001 however, aired on Nippon TV.
• Star-Making Role: Minami Asakura was the role that cemented Noriko Hidaka's status as one of the top seiyuu of The '80s, and while she's gone on to voice other iconic characters, Minami is still her most famous role.
• Studio Hop: Regarding the anime adaptation, the main TV series and four movies are owned and distributed by Toho, however the aforementioned TV specials were produced and distributed by Nippon TV's subsidary, VAP.
