• Disowned Adaptation: Creators Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mézières have publicly admitted they are not fans of this series, according to this article.
• International Coproduction: The series was a co-production between Satelight (Japan), EuropaCorp (France), Dargaut (France) and JM Animation (South Korea). While Satelight and JM Animation was involved in animating the series, Pipangaï Production in France also assisted with the animation. The score was recorded at Digital Factory^note which was owned by EuropaCorp at the time in Paris, while the French and English dialogue were respectively recorded at VSI Paris (France) and VSI London (UK).
