• California Doubling: Montreal stands in for New York City for most of the series (except for the odd exterior shot), Montreal also plays Paris in "We'll Always Have Paris."
• Creator Backlash: On the eve of the fourth-season finale, Aisha Dee made a post on Instagram sharing her frustrations over the controversial romance arc between Kat and Eva. This was then shared by costars Katie Stevens and Meghann Fahy. And then even got shared by Alex Paxton-Beesley, who plays Eva Rose, suggesting that she's not happy about the story, either.
• Fake American: As you'd expect in an American series filmed in Canada, but the most prominent is Aisha Dee, who's actually Australian.
• Word of St. Paul: Adena's actor Nikohl Boosheri has said that she thinks Coco — Adena's girlfriend — has a history of self-harm or suicidal tendencies. When Coco keeps calling after they broke up, Adena answered with "Are you okay?", and Nikohl felt that she wouldn't open the conversation that way unless she expected Coco to have hurt herself.
