Trivia / Terra Cresta

• Follow the Leader:
  • The sequel, Terra Force, took a page from Gradius's book with its side-scrolling underground areas, attack drones, and missile sub-weapon.
  • Moon Cresta is also an example as one of many "invader" video games that were made at the time, with this game featuring a Galaxian-like scrolling star field, and even a similar "shot" sound effect from the player's ship(s). It may have even been developed on similar, if not the same hardware.^note That said, unlike Galaxian, and its more popular sequel / spinoff Galaga, each wave never has the enemies staying in one place.
