- In the tie-in stages for the Sonic movies, the film incarnation of Dr. Robotnik isn’t visible behind his robot’s opaque cockpit visor and still uses Mike Pollock’s voice. This suggests Sega didn’t or couldn’t get Jim Carrey’s visual or vocal likeness for movie Robotnik.
- Due to the legal limbo with AtGames, the limited time Pac-Man event ended up becoming the final official appearance of Ms. Pac-Man. Later Pac-Man media either make no mention of her or replace her with a Suspiciously Similar Substitute.
