• Creator Killer: The incredibly rocky development of Dies Irae Pantheon and the constant switching of developers ultimately ended up bankrupting Greenwood leading to Light going down in turn. While Masada kept on working on the series independently to make his visions come true, it had to take on a very different form due to this.
• Development Hell: The development of Dies Irae Pantheon has not been a smooth ride with the game having been stuck for a good length of time and has gone through at least 3 different developers. And as of March 2019, it ended up canceled due to the closure of Light's parent company Greenwood.
• God Does Not Own This World: The rights for a big part of the Shinza series belongs to Light rather than Masada himself, the only exception is Avesta of Black and White which was funded with the help of dedicated fans, allowing Masada to keep the rights.
• No Export for You: Dies Irae is the only VN that has been released for English speaking audiences thus far, and all localization efforts are currently focused on the adaptations and spin-offs of this visual novel. This makes the release of the other titles in the series unlikely for the time being.
• Production Posse: It seems to have been a general rule that from Dies Irae onwards, Masada is always working closely with both the artist G Yuusuke and composer Keishi Yonao.
