Trivia / Real Fake

• Actor-Inspired Element:
  • Nagisa and Masayuki's actors, Yoshihiko Aramaki and Masanari Wada, are best friends in real life. Aramaki noted that although Nagisa was intended to be a shy and meek character, his real-life dynamic with Wada kept leaking into his performance, resulting in Nagisa being a lot more assertive and trollish in Masayuki's presence.
  • Reijirou's character was originally meant to be a pure ditz, but ended up taking on characteristics of a Team Dad after the director observed how his actor, Ryunosuke Matsumura, took care of the other members of the cast while everyone was jetlagged and tired from travelling between shooting locations. Reijirou cooking for everyone is based on Matsumura doing the same thing.
  • Outside of his commitment to Stellar CROWNS, Kakeru is the lead singer of a rock band. His actor, Ryuji Sato, is lead singer of famed Rock and Visual Kei band The Brow Beat.
• Production Posse: The main cast (save for Shouta Aoi) are made up of actors that are well known in the 2.5D stage play community, and as such most of them have worked together before in many stage projects. In 2nd Stage, two more 2.5D actors, Hiroki Ino and Hiroki Sasamori, join the main cast.
• Role-Ending Misdemeanor: Ren Ozawa was originally slated to return for 2nd Stage, but when his domestic abuse against a former girlfriend came to light, he was quickly fired and his character Rin was Put on a Bus.
• Underage Casting: In 2nd Stage, 24 year old Mizuki is played by 23 year old Hiroki Sasamori. Not an extreme example, but notable in a cast where almost everyone else is older than their characters.
