• Accidentally-Correct Writing: Setting a Hot Springs Episode in Alaska is pure fanservice, but Alaska really does have quite a few hot springs.
• April Fools' Day: For April Fools 2013, age made spoofs of various pieces of official and promotional artwork from other anime series (eg. The poster for the second of the two Puella Magi Madoka Magica recap movies). One of them was a spoof of the cover for the first volume of the Oreimo light novel, with Kirino and Kyosuke replaced with Yui and Yuuya, and re-titled "There's No Way My Little Sister Can Be This Samurai!". This was a hint at their blood relation as half-siblings, which was later revealed in the visual novel.
• Schedule Slip: The English release of the VN missed its original launch window of fall 2021 without explanation.
• Troubled Production: Development of the visual novel saw long-time age artist Sou Miyata, TE's principal character designer, dismissed for getting caught tracing third-party artwork a second time after his Kimi ga Ita Kisetsu fiasco; resources which would have gone into implementing multiple routes instead went into age's other artists taking over his work.
• What Could Have Been: The TE VN was supposed to have multiple routes, with a script for Yui's route confirmed by the scenario writer to be complete. Several events resulted in the VN only having one route, Cryska's.
