  • Executive Meddling: The reason this game is in US arcades despite having mechanics that are incomprehensible to non-Japanese speakers without a guide? Konami pressured Round 1 to include it in all of their locations.
  • No Export for You:
    • Like many other BEMANI games, this one is limited to Japan, select non-Japan countries in East and Southeast Asia, and Round 1 locations in the United States.
    • Some songs, most notably "Senbonzakura", are not available in the South Korean version of the game.
  • Pop-Culture Urban Legends: The game is commonly believed to have had its online services terminated in July 2018. This is only true of cabinets outside of Japan, which received an update that prevents the game from starting up if it is connected to the internet. The misconception comes from the cessation of content updates, sale of offline kits, and sale of conversion kits to Bishi Bashi Channel, however there are still a few arcades in Japan that run the game online, and the player can still access their play data for the game on the eAmusement website. The lack of popularity that the game has in rhythm game circles (compared to the likes of SOUND VOLTEX, DanceDanceRevolution, and CHUNITHM) further contributes to the misassumption.
  • Recycled Set: The game got the receiving end of this, with its cabs being repurposed for Bishi Bashi Channel. The main differences are the removal of the foot pedal, the screen being re-oriented to a horizontal position, and a new control panel that features four sets (one for each player) of three buttons each, with two of the buttons being dome-shaped buttons traditionally used for Bishi Bashi (and also pop'n music) and one being the spinner button from this game. If you look under the control panel, you can see the square spiral prop that symbolizes this game.
  • What Could Have Been: In the first few location tests, Grafica were triggered manually, by stepping on the pedal. This was changed from a later location test onwards: each Grafica now triggers automatically in set segments during the song, and the pedal is now used for Kick Objects.
