- Creator Breakdown: Tachikawa was unfamiliar with the entertainment industry and ended up having health problems due to the difficulty of working on the series, resulting in the final two chapters being published as "bonus chapters" in a special issue despite blatantly being originally intended for the main series. This, combined with a change in editorial policy at Nakayoshi shortly after, resulted in Tachikawa departing from Nakayoshi after the series finished.
- Creator-Driven Successor: The series is often considered to be one for Tachikawa's preivous Magical Girl series Kaitou Saint Tail, with both of them going into the psychological factors behind the Secret-Identity Identity problem and eventually centering around people who just want to be accepted by others. Mink and Motoharu can even be considered as Foil-style follow-ups to Meimi and Asuka Jr., with Tachikawa drawing art of Mink and Meimi together at one point.
