Trivia / Middlemost Post

Go To

  • Amateur Cast: With the exception of John DiMaggio, not much of the series' cast have had previous experience in voice acting.
  • Crossdressing Voices: Becky Robinson as Parker.
  • Descended Creator: Creator John Trabbic III and co-executive producer Dave H. Johnson provide voice roles for most of the background characters.
  • Dueling Works: With Pikwik Pack. They both are 2D animated series focusing on characters running a delivery service.
  • Playing Against Type: John DiMaggio, who's normally casted as characters that are surly or full of themselves, voices the selflessly kind Angus.
  • Schedule Slip: "Inside Russell" and "The Stinkhole Chronicles" were pulled from their initial April 22 airdate to make room for repeats of The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder. It then aired on May 6.
  • Screwed by the Network:
    • At first, the show was a decent success, earned a second season renewal, and got good ratings, even making it onto several top 150 cable shows lists. After Labor Day 2022, however Nick suddenly paused daily reruns and only did Sunday morning encores. They also stopped doing ads for the show. Come October 2022, John Trabbic III announces that Nick pulled the plug on the show. At the very least, Middlemost Post aired its' entire run on the main channel and was never shafted to Nicktoons.
    • Paramount+ did its level best to erase the entire show from existence — not just pulling it from its streaming service, but removing all official YouTube clips, cancelling all related products and basically acting like the series never existed. The fact that they did this with little warning or explanation only added salt to the wound.
  • Short Run in Peru: Since "Darker Parker", multiple countries aired the episodes before airing in America.
  • Write What You Know: Parker is directly based off of creator John Trabbic's own former experiences with drugs and his recovery from addiction, describing Parker in various sources as a "reformed raincloud" who used to "rain on people's parades, but now wants to brighten everybody's days".
