- Cross-Dressing Voices: In episode 8 of the anime, two "male" sports teams were both voiced in the original Japanese by Noriko Namiki who was already in the show voicing Yuri Kurosu.
- Directed by Cast Member: The late Chris Ayres was the ADR director and also voiced the infomercial announcer in episode 9
- No Export for You: Aside from Taiwan, the manga was never really officially exported anywhere else outside of Japan, there are scanlations but they only go up to volume 9.
- Aside from English, the only other language the anime was dubbed in was European Spanish, and it was much like the manga, it was never really exported anywhere else.
- Studio Hop: The anime was originally licensed and dubbed by ADV Films, however shortly after the English dub was completed and fully released to the public, Sojitz pulled out off the anime business and the license was transferred to Funimation who still has the license to this day.
- Trolling Creators: The last scene of the anime has a freeze-frame troll-faced Ayumi, with ominous laughter, and a The End?
