Trivia / Lordi

Go To

  • Creator Backlash: Their victory at the Eurovision Song Contest used to be this for Mr Lordi, since most people would write them off as a "Eurovision-band". He has since come to terms with it.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Napalm Market, a demo that Mr Lordi recorded way back in 1993 when Lordi was still a solo project. It has never been released to the public and Mr Lordi has no intention to do so.
    • Mr Lordi even made a music video for the track 'Inferno'. Mr Lordi refused to release it for years since he's unmasked in the video. The video was eventually released on the Recordead Live – Sextourcism in Z7 DVD in July 2019 with Mr Lordi's face censored. Before that, the video was pretty much considered lost.
  • Meaningful Release Date: Deadache and Scare Force One were released in October of 2008 and 2014.
  • No Export for You: The albums before The Arockalypse pretty much have to be sent for, including, funnily enough, The Monsterican Dream. This was thankfully averted after they toured Ozzfest, as Get Heavy and The Monsterican Dream can be found in the U.S. with a little effort.
  • The Pete Best: Lordi had two bassists before their initial success with Get Heavy, G-Stealer, who only played on the unreleased first album and Magnum, who played bass in the album and appeared in the "Would You Love a Monsterman" music video.
    • Kalma, Magnum's replacement did all the bass on The Arockalypse, but left and got replaced by Ox shortly before the release of the album.
  • You Look Familiar: Kita's first costume was the same worn by G-Stealer, the band's original bass player.
