Trivia / Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge

Go To

  • Acting for Two:
    • Most of Alan's guests were played by the same troupe of people (Rebecca Front, Patrick Marber, Doon Mackichan, David Schneider). The same troupe along with Steve Coogan all performed similar roles in the show's precursor, The Day Today.
    • Coogan also voiced Roger Moore in the first episode. His impression is so good (watch the Trip) that Moore only found out about the scene after his father reprimanded him for his no-show.

  • Throw It In!: The horse that Alan brings on in the first episode takes a dump on the studio floor. This was unrehearsed, but seamlessly woven into the show thanks to the improvisational skills of the cast.
