• What Could Have Been:
  • Kamen Rider J was initially planned as a sequel to Kamen Rider ZO; however, for various reasons, J was made it's own movie.
  • According to an interview with the director, Keita Amemiya, ZO was originally intended to continue into a TV series, much like Kamen Rider ZX, but due to various reasons, those plans never continued. It's possible that what was left of these plans were recycled into the aforementioned Kamen Rider J.
  • Japanese rock band Infix wrote a song for the movie entitled "RIDERS FOREVER". However, for whatever reason, it was never used and the song was reworked into "WINNERS FOREVER", the first ending theme to Mobile Suit Victory Gundam.
