Trivia / Infinity Train: Court of Cyclamen

  • Ascended Fanon: Many comments in Blossoming Trail had people assume that Ms. Turner was an alias of Hunter J. In the story Hunter J is allied with Ms. Turner.
  • Creator Backlash: The story is seen as this to the Blossomverse as a whole because of its brutal darkness, even by the verse's standards, and constant continuity issues. Crossoverpairinglover has gone so far as to declare it a Disowned Adaptation, and when elements from it are seen in other works, the reactions from cautious surprise (Voyage of Wisteria) to great disapproval (Seeker of Crocus).
  • Creator Breakdown: After the controversy of the Bad Future in Chapter 9, the author confessed that she's completely sick and tired of the dark themes in the story (particularly Bede's suicide and One keeping it in the dark so that Chloe could grow) and is at the point ready to delete the entire story like it never existed in the first place. The co-writers of this and many other Blossomverse stories, crossoverpairinglover and Shady Missionary, were similarly affected, though for different reasons.
  • Disowned Adaptation: Chapter 8's depiction of a bad future very similar to Infinity Train: Cherry Bloodlines was quickly disowned by Cross as canon to Cherry, citing a variety of problems with the set up, implementation, the morality it played with by treating Grace killing something that was about to set up a chain reaction that would kill everyone in the Apex as a unnecessary act , and the fact he was not asked to give feedback on it and only realized it was being done when the chapter was released. Further issues involving the process of trying to fix the issues means that Cross has confirmed he has not changed his opinion of its non-canon nature to Cherry, as well as a general disregard of the story itself as a part of the Blossomverse.
  • Development Gag: Ai and Yusaku being on the Train is based on how Green Phantom Queen originally wanted Yusaku as part of the White Gestalt instead of Specter.
  • Real Life Writes the Plot: Due to the controversy of the tie into Cherry-Bloodlines, the author decided to change the message of the theme into something lighter and hopeful. It also culminated in the story being pretty much cut short and several plotlines quickly resolved to keep the story relatively small, ditching the 3 act structure common in other stories.
