Trivia / Hinatazaka de Aimashō

  • #EngineeredHashtag: The ramen chain Hidakaya, of which Kyoko Saito was appointed brand ambassador with the title "Jjigae Miso Angel", took the occasion of the release of 8th single "Tsuki to Hoshi ga Odoru Midnight" (of which she's the center) in 2022 to relaunch for a limited time her favorite menu which had been discontinued, Jjigae Miso Ramen. The hashtag they used would appropriately be #日高屋で会いましょう (Let's Meet at Hidakaya), and their first announcement tweet also has the moon (tsuki) and star (hoshi) emojis. Some fans speculate that the thinly-veiled references were because Hidakaya couldn't mention her directly since their endorsement contract had long ended and Hinatazaka was endorsing the Cupstar ramen brand. Kyoko herself "responded" by signing her blog the day Hidakaya made the announcement with her old "Ramen daisuki, Saito Kyoko" ("I'm the ramen lover, Kyoko Saito") instead of her current one, which was simply "Saito Kyoko".
In 2023, the two brands came together and collaborated on the Cupstar Hidakaya-supervised Jjigae Miso Ramen limited-edition cup ramen, naturally with Kyoko's likeness on the lids.
  • Executive Veto: The members has occasionally pointed out that their management prohibits various comedic routines like making funny faces, but being variety buffs, they (especially the 1st gens) do it anyway.
  • Missing Episode:
    • A skit featuring Miho Watanabe as Kasuga's lover, in which she is said to have done a perfect impression of comedian Fuwa-chan, was cut due to Kasuga's overbearingness, and Audrey and the members occasionally refer to it in later episodes.
    • In August 2019, they discussed the members' segment proposals in a HinaAi recording, which included a plan to prank the comedy duo Ungirls. So as not to give the plan away, the episode couldn't be aired before the prank could take place, which finally happened near the end of 2020 due to scheduling conflicts, and only a few clips have been shown until then.
  • Out of Order: Rather than by episode number, each Blu-ray release edition contains around 5 episodes related to a certain theme and features a member who's somewhat related to that theme on the cover.
  • Screwed by the Lawyers: In the GanaOshi Blu-ray boxset, some Cover Versions of other artists' works, such as in karaoke segments, had to be cut since they couldn't secure the rights to include the songs.
    • Comedian Manabu Kishi's signature Jack Bauer impression also had to go.
    • On the other hand, anime songs often get played as background music, since TV Tokyo and its affiliates hold the broadcast rights to a lot of anime.
  • Similarly Named Works: A Super Formula racing show which first aired in 2021 and hosted by Suzuka Tomita was titled Go On! Next Circuit de Aimashō, renamed in 2023 to Circuit de Aimashō.
  • Throw It In!: In their variety shows, Wakabayashi's lampshading of the occasional Accidental Innuendo often makes the cut along with the joke itself.
  • Written by Cast Member: Several episodes of their variety shows feature the members proposing their segment ideas, and some of them have actually been used in later episodes.
