• Bonus Material: The print collections include various bonus material, including 4-koma comics and bonus stories. These stories sometimes feature fanservice or risque material that would presumably have a hard time getting published in a shonen magazine.
• The Other Darrin: For the Street Fighter V scene in Episode 11, all of the Street Fighter characters were inevitably recast.
• Portmanteau Series Nickname: Tonikaku Kawaii -> TONIKAWA. It is used as the official title of the anime series.

Trivia for the 2008 animated film:

• Accidentally-Correct Writing: Believe it or not, flies actually have gone to the moon. Ironically, they did so in a Russian spacecraft.
• Box Office Bomb: Made $13,816,982 domestically against a budget of $25 million. It did better overseas, grossing $41,721,414 worldwide.
