• Box Office Bomb: Budget: $18 million. Gross: $8,165,212.
• Channel Hop: The film was originally going to be produced by Savoy Pictures, in where it was going to be a big budget film and star Sylvester Stallone after offering him $20 million. But after Savoy went defunct, the film went to 20th Century Fox, who produced it on a more modest budget.
• Star-Derailing Role: The failure of this film set ablaze former NFL star Howie Long's film career, who ended up having smaller parts in a couple more films afterwards. He's stayed on as an analyst for Fox Sports, where he remains to this day.
• What Could Have Been: Sylvester Stallone was originally going to star back when it was under development at Savoy Pictures, right before the studio folded.
