• Acting for Two: With Episode 6 introducing voice acting for all the characters, some characters are played by more than one actor.
  • Sonic, Shadow, X, and Zero are all voiced by Stephen "Shard-Spider" Lynch.
  • Ciel and Amy are voiced by Washu-Right.
• Genre Popularizer: After first episode's release in 2004, other Sonic-focused RPGs that contain elements of a Massive Multiplayer Crossover would be released on Newgrounds, following the same episodic release structure and Final Fantasy-inspired battle systems. This can be seen with games like Sonic RPG (first released in 2005) and Wave Warrior Sonic Exe (first released in 2008), which are episodic RPGs that use Final Fantasy's Limit Break and Overdrive systems, with their stories having Sonic teaming up with characters outside of his franchise.
• Sequel Gap: Episode 6 was released in 2008, Episode 7 was announced in 2017 and still hasn't seen release.
