• Bury Your Art:
  • Around 2017, Exo removed his review of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy and his editorial about his feelings on Naughty Dog, finding them both to be low-quality videos that focused too on highlighting their negative traits and overlooking the positives.
  • Around 2020 Exo also removed his Whiney Bitch Gamer parody video on the announcement of Final Fantasy VII Remake. While Exo doesn't remember why he removed the video he notes a lot of WBG's hyperbolic complaints ended up criticisms Exo actually had about the finished game.
• Creator Backlash:
  • Despite being his most popular video overall, he's been critical in hindsight of his Super Mario 64 DS ROR. Feeling that he was overly-zealous in his praise of the remake and had, consequentially, turned a blind eye to a lot of the more legitimate issues people had with it (particularly within the speedrunning community). Because of this, in his Metroid II: Return of Samus ROR, he officially downgraded his score for Mario 64 DS from "Replace" to "Remaster."
  • His 2013 review for Luigi's Mansion. It was his first video, made when he was still in high school, and it definitely shows. In his 2018 ROR for the 3DS version of the game, he explicitly points out his retrospective embarrassment over the video.
  • He's also expressed some distaste for his earlier ROR's (specifically the Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario Bros. ones), where he was still figuring out the format for the series, had a much lower budget and more primitive video equipment, etc.
• What Could Have Been: Exo was planning on an episode of Remake or Remake about Pokémon Red and Blue and their Game Boy Advance remakes Fire Read and Leaf Green as well as a regular episode about Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, but sadly lost the entire recording of the latter due to his computer having its memory corrupted while losing interest in the former and also, his partner for the former episode, Haedox, had his own personnal issues to deal with.
