- The Cast Showoff:
- Averted with Andy Biersack. While he himself is a singer in a rock band in real life, he doesn't sing in the film due to restrictions placed by his then-record label. Remington Leith of Palaye Royale does all of Johnny's vocals, and their song "Mr. Doctor Man" is featured in the film. Palaye Royale is signed to Sumerian Records.
- Olivia Culpo is an accomplished cellist, and she plays in the series.
- In Memoriam : The final episode of the series is dedicated In Loving Memory to Cameron Boyce, as it was his final film role. Surprisingly not noted in the film, as it was the final appearance of both Larry King and John Avildsen.
- Playing Against Type:
- Damien, the foul mouthed alleged rapist and possibly the son of the Devil, is played by none other than...Nickelodeon heartthrob Drake fucking Bell?
- Made Harsher in Hindsight after multiple abuse and sexual assault allegations came out against Drake Bell in 2021, prompting him to relocate to Mexico and change his name to Drake Campana (Campana being the Spanish word for “bell.”)
- Real-Life Relative: Sheva in Paradise Lost is played by Juliet Simms/Lilith Czar, the real life spouse of Andy Biersack.
