Tear Jerker / The Shikigami Ranger and the Monster Mashers

• The backstories of some of the Mashers and how they met Michiru, and the hope he's brought to their lives to the point that they decided to spend the rest of their lives with him, is as endearing as it can be painful:
  • Nefertina was a Mummy, one of the living dead. Her only solace was in her duty and in her love for going fast. Michiru's magic revived her body.
  • Jubilee was a vampire — constantly struggling with the endless thirst for blood and unable to enjoy such simple pleasures like a nice sunny day. Sure, the X-Men were able to find some ways to solve that (feeding on Wolverine's blood, for one) but those were temporary solutions, at best. Michiru was not able to completely cure her of vampirism, but was able to change it so it wasn't a soul-crushing curse.
