Tear Jerker / Kryptonite Nevermore

• Superman's first hint that something is terribly wrong is that he feels suddenly dizzy and exhausted, like if his strength is being drawn from him. And he thinks that sensation is even worse than the effects of kryptonite!
• Deep-down, Superman only wants to be plain, ordinary Clark Kent. When he realizes that he cannot renounce his responsibilities, he sits on the floor and covers his face with his hands.
