Tear Jerker / Brawl of the Objects

It's pretty rare for this webseries to have depressing moments, but when you watch 'em...yeah.

• It's pretty depressing to watch a contestant to be frozen, even if they aren't your favorite. They just go unexpectedly, inside of a water-filled container to freeze in seconds. Honestly horrific to think about.
  • Boat's elimination is the saddest one yet. She talks to Baguette and Shelly one last time. Then, she just freezes with a smile.
  • Then, there's Boombox's elimination. Party Hat, his best friend, cries "No!!!!" when he is eliminated and Party Hat sadly watches as his best friend, Boombox, is frozen.
• When you think about it, Rook had a pretty traumatic backstory. He actually drowned and froze. Poor guy.
• HotDog's reaction to his ruined car.
  Pizza: I'm sorry for the loss, Hot Dog.
  Hot Dog: (sobs) I remember when I first stitched you, about five minutes ago...(continues sobbing and buries his eyes in his hands.)
  • What makes it worse, is that Hot Dog continued to sob even though Pizza tried to console him, showing that it really upset him.
• Scissors alone and sad in her own party.
• Pear crying over her lost stem.
• When Pizza sarcastically asks Shelly if there's something wrong in How It All Ended, she answers him as if she believes he really cares about her, when he most likely doesn't.
• Party Hat and Shieldy don't accept Shelly into their alliance. They tell her that she can help them if she wants to but they don't want her to be in the final two with them. This seriously hurts Shelly's feelings even though she fakes being OK and lies to them by telling them it is fine. Ouch!
  • What makes it worse is that Shieldy and Party Hat are genuinely remorseful of their actions but don't do anything to make it right. Truly a Kick the Dog moment in its finest.
• Shelly losing a friend in Pizza during the Trivia mini-challenge.
• Shelly gets beaten up by a battle monster at the hands of Shieldy, loses Pizza as a friend, suffers from the side effects of the show, gets rejected by Party Hat and Shieldy to be in their alliance, and has her brain imploded! Popsicley even calls her a traitor. Poor Shelly gets put through the ringer in this episode!
  • What makes it worse is that no one apologizes to Shelly at all.

Other/Non-Canon

• In Pizza's Demo Reel, Shelly is on the verge of tears after the movie. If you listen real closely, you can hear her whimpering.
