As a Moments page, all spoilers are off. You Have Been Warned.

Given that this is a series where characters dying plays a primary role in its premise and mechanisms, the ALSMP sure has its fair share of sad moments.
  • Every single death technically qualifies, especially if the death in question happened while the content creator was thoroughly enjoying their time as that origin, since their death would mean having to swap out for a different origin.
    • Jimmy's first death caused him to lose his Thornling origin and instead be a Feline, which is of standard player height... which means unless Jimmy gets another Fun Sized origin in his future lives, he won't be able to return to the Small Gang Clubhouse he built.
    • fWhip's first death was easily preventable, but the loss of his amity to Pillagers means that the Pillager guards he employed at his watch towers quickly turned against him after he died and lost his Illusioner origin.
Failwhip: Tried going home and the pillagers just said "Allyourbasearebelongtous" and fired arrows at me :(
  • Shelby being ostracized from those she used to call friends in her 5th episode. First, she started a 'villains' club for fellow night-dwellers so they could Take Over the World and spread darkness across the land (because others semi-joked about killing her so they could sleep at night), and managed to invite Vampire Scott and Half-Wither Sausage to join. However, after griefing and pranking several bases (including Joey's, which she was reluctant to grief initially), Scott suggests that they start killing people, to which Shelby objects to, and disbands the club as a result. After the other two leave while badmouthing her all the way, Shelby returns her griefing 'spoils' (mainly his lanterns and some of the Cincinnasite ingots) to Joey, confessing she helped raid his base, but Joey breaks off their friendship and shoos her away with lanterns, saying she could only return if she was no longer "Shadow Girl". After the entire ordeal, Shelby contemplates doing a Heel–Face Turn to become "Sunshine Girl", but rejects it in favour of becoming truly evil... and immediately gets blown up by a creeper.
  • Scott's rage and bitterness over being abandoned by his two closest friends, Shelby and Sausage. After both of them die, renounce evil and form the Guardians of the Afterlife together, Scott confronts them, yelling at them that nobody on the server deserves to be saved... until he sees that Sausage has pulled out a wooden sword, which vampires are extremely weak to. Scott then calls them awful friends, steals one of their chairs, and storms out. Considering this is the second group Scott has been a part of that fell apart after its members died and changed origins (the first being the Small Gang Club, with Moth-Scott being the only surviving member after Lizzie and Jimmy died), it's clear the guy has some serious abandonment issues.
  • Phantom Shelby exploring the server and looking for other players' houses to haunt in her 15th episode. It's especially poignant in that most of the players' bases she visits aren't just no longer occupied, but their former occupants have already lost all ten of their lives before Shelby's visit.
  • After taking a break for "three months", Oli returns to the Afterlife server to search for his friends... who, at that point, had previously lost all ten of their lives while he was away. Throughout the search, Oli uses a server-wide teleportation device to visit the bases of his friends, only to find them all long abandoned by their deceased owners. It leads to Oli dying as a Forestborn during one of these searches as he accidentally falls into lava, while calling the now-desolate server a Ghost Town.
