Shout Out / Metallix, Lilo and Stitch

Go To

  • Metallix throws memes all over the place.
    • In "Yin-Yang", Metallix bets that, if either Lilo and Stitch get along or if Metallix catches both experiments before them, he'd destroy Jumba and Pleakley's entire Ho Yay fanbase. How he does it? By RickRolling everyone!
    • When Dr. Koopa asks Metallix what is The darkness level of Vanitas, Metallix replies with "IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!"
    • How does Metallix react to 627,, and the fact he can't be redeemed?
  • Dr. Koopa and Metallix often mock Hamsterviel by calling him a "filthy sewer rat".
  • In the remake of "Snafu", Bonnie and Clyde make a reference to Timon doing the Hawaiian war chant in order to distract Heat, Tresher, Plasmoid and Hammerface. This shoutout goes up to eleven, with Bonnie asking "What do you expect me to do? Dress in drag and do the hula?!" and Lilo stating, after the six experiments (Bonnie, Clyde, Heat, Tresher, Plasmoid and Hammerface) running away, that "that's not how the chant goes!", a justified reaction considering Lilo's a Hawaiian. Although Metallix explains the following: "Kāua I Ka Huahuaʻi is not even a WAR CHANT", the song, indeed, originates from Hawaii, being written by Prince Leleiohoku.
  • Occasionally, the anime is referenced.
    • Mrs. Sickly (X-255), an anime-only experiment, appears in this reboot. Aditionally, the reaction between her smell and Mr. Stenchy's stench is changed. Instead of destroying the planet, the smells nullify each other. Dr. Koopa explains this as following: if the union between two experiments drawn to each other is supposed to "destroy the planet", then shouldn't Jumba have ensured this would happen with Yin and Yang, who were created AFTER Mr. Stenchy and Mrs. Sickly?
    • A more minor one, but noteworthy. Angel has a liking for cliche love interest archetypes, which occurs in the anime, but in "Metallix, Lilo and Stitch", she always projects these archetypes into Stitch. This is seen in Spooky, when Angel dresses Stitch as a prince.
      • The costume Angel gave Stitch? The same one that 627 used in the anime to woo Angel, but at a smaller size and without the mask and wig.
    • In "Spike", Nosy states Angel took a chesse stuffed baked potatoes challenge and put on 10 pounds. He does the same thing in the anime episode, "Nosy meets Tigerlily". In both instances, Angel gets angry and tries to beat him up, although in the fanfic, Stitch helps her.
