• Being a crossover, there are the obligatory references to Frozen, Buffy, and the Sing-Along Blog.
  • Willow loses an eye.
  • Olaf still thinks Kristoff's name is Sven. It's lampshaded when he gets it right.
  • Xander's construction work is still in business.
  • Doctor Horrible still has his verbal tics.
  • Willow muses that once Elsa completes her Face–Heel Turn she'll 'rise like the break of dawn'.
  • Frozen exists in this — and Elsa is not happy about it.
• Secondary only to the above is Portal. So. Much. Portal.
  • A lot of his chapters start with Portal quotes.
  • Somebody sings "Still Alive" in the middle of a nightmare.
  • For his 10th Chapter Special, he made Portal references worth double the amount of other references. Pity he only made 1.
• He mentions the hooded figures in the dog park.
  • "Reach your full productive potential!"
• One of his quotes is a Bob Ross quote.
• The first few digits of Johnny's bank account number are 223304.
• Doctor Horrible says Space Mountain could be considered "legendary."
• Olaf mentions a witch who poisoned one of her maids with an apple, a witch who stole a mermaid's voice, and frets about witches turning him into a mouse and eating him.
• The ending quote of Chapter 14 is Phone Guy's FNAF 2 trailer line.
• He spends Chapter 10 worming in as many references as possible, telling readers to eat a certain amount of chocolate or other sweet every time they catch one, making a point of increasing the amount-per-reference for Portal and non-Frozen/Buffy/SAB references.
