In the game the player is tasked with managing a chocolate factory, gathering ingredients and recipes, while stocking the shop to keep customers happy. What makes it unique is that the factory and shop are staffed by ghosts!
The game will also have combat and exploration elements, as well a social ones with other non-playable characters.

This game provides examples of:
- Bee Afraid: Videos and screenshots show bees as enemies, including a giant one serving as a boss encounter.
- Boss Battle: Unlike in Stardew Valley which had Mooks, but no Bosses, this game will feature proper boss fights. A released screenshot shows the player character fighting a giant bee in a gigantic bee hive.
- Canon Welding: ConcernedApe has confirmed that this game takes place in the same world as Stardew Valley.
- Continuity Cameo:
- Videos and screenshots show the slimes from Stardew Valley returning as enemies.
- Another screenshot showed a fountain with statues of the mermaids from Stardew Valley at the center.
- Dating Sim: Both the teaser and statements from the game creator show that the game will feature several social mechanics with other NPCs, as in Stardew Valley; including the possibility of romantic ones.
- Gothic Horror: The game has a bit of this, since the player lives in an old mansion populated with ghosts.
- Hornet Hole: A screenshot shows a level taking place in a giant bee hive.
- Slippy-Slidey Ice World: The trailer and screenshots show that the mansion and factory are located in a village perpetually under snow. But the player will be able to visit sunnier and warmer areas.
- Wild Wilderness: The teaser and screenshots show levels taking place in the wilderness, with a ranger station, and many hostile wildlife like birds and bees.
