“Conundrum Estate is an upcoming reality game show. Between 14-18 adults have the chance to win $100 million. This social experiment will be recorded and publicized. Expenses and accommodations will be prepared and paid in advance by the staff, but only the winner of the game can receive the cash prize. Do you have what it takes to rise to the top? Can you outwit your opponents and manage relations to stay in the game?”

Conundrum Estate is a Tumblr roleplay that borrows elements from killing games such as Danganronpa. Lured in by the chance of striking it rich, sixteen strangers sign up for a reality game show. What they don't know is that the social experiment is actually a killing game.

Tropes appearing inside Conundrum Estate include:

  • A House Divided: Contestants will have to decide whether their own interests will take priority over the safety of others. This will inevitably lead to conflict along the line, as what may be a compelling motive to one contestant might be a poor reason to another.
  • Characters Dropping Like Flies: At least one at the end of every cycle. Add in possible executions and random deaths, and their numbers will dwindle fairly quickly.
  • Mystery of the Week: The game follows a set schedule, which culminates in a murder. Players are expected to solve the murder and discover who among them committed the crime.
  • Public Execution: When discovered, the culprit will be executed in front of their peers...and, presumably, the entire audience.
