In The Color of Money, when Vincent is playing Moselle, he's hamming it up (to Eddie's disgust) while "Werewolves of London" plays in the background - Vincent even sings along to the line, "And his hair was perfect" after sinking a shot.
Early in the movie, as Mac leaves the Lakers game, "Lawyers, Guns and Money" plays on his car radio, though he shuts it off when he takes a wrong turn. When he realizes he's lost, Mac starts singing part of the song to himself ("Send lawyers, guns and money/The shit has hit the fan").
Later in the movie, when Roberto is coming home after being a counselor at summer camp, and is sitting with his girlfriend Amanda, "Searching for a Heart" plays in the background.
Carl Hiaasen, who was a friend of Zevon's in Real Life, has referenced Zevon in a couple of his novels:
Native Tongue: When Joe is forcing his ex-boss (at the theme park he used to work at) to walk with him at gunpoint, while wearing the outfit of the park's mascot, he sings "Werewolves of London" - though this being Hiaasen, he changes it to, "Werewolves of Florida".
Lucky You: Tom, a newspaper reporter who is one of the main characters, decides he no longer loves his wife Mary Andrea and wants a divorce, she refuses to divorce him. One day, she wakes up to find he's left a note for her that reads, "If you don't leave me, I'll find someone who will," which she later learns is from a Warren Zevon song.
A minor league baseball team in London, Ontario called the London Werewolves operated from 1999-2001, and their mascot was a werewolf named Warren Z. Vaughn.
