"JunJun's Wake Up Call": The Treeborhood is having ice cream for breakfast, and Zadie needs to wake up JunJun in time.

"JunJun's Wake Up Call" contains the following tropes:

  • Blatant Lies: JunJun says that he's a light sleeper. He is clearly not, as it takes a lot for him to wake up.
  • Continuity Nod: Zadie attempts to use her Really Big, Really Loud Noisy Thing to wake up JunJun.
  • The Ditherer: Mr. E spends a long time deciding on what ice cream flavor to get, which annoys everyone else. Eventually, he decides to get all of them.
  • Face Palm: Ellie facepalms in exasperation when Mr. E can't decide on an ice cream flavor.
  • Furry Reminder: JunJun is shown to sleep in a nest.
  • Heavy Sleeper: JunJun is not a light sleeper. Not even a blaring alarm clock can wake him up. In the end, he finally wakes up when his neighbors play him a song about ice cream.
  • Huddle Shot: The wombats and Leiko do this while discussing a plan to wake up JunJun.
  • Really Fond of Sleeping: It's revealed that JunJun loves to sleep. Sleeping late, sleeping in, staying tucked up in bed for as long as he can.
  • Shown Their Work: Duffy says that red bean is good for muscles and that matcha builds your brain. Both are true. Adzuki beans are rich in protein, which helps build muscle mass. Matcha improves attention, memory, and reaction time.
  • Sleep Mask: JunJun wears a sleep mask when he goes to sleep, reflecting his love of sleeping.
  • Talking in Your Sleep: JunJun mutters "ice cream...breakfast...ube..." in his sleep.
  • To the Tune of...: The ice cream for breakfast song is to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." Leiko's good morning song is to the tune of "Oh My Darling Clementine." The song where she begs Mr. E to decide on an ice cream flavor is to the tune of "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow."
  • Trademark Favorite Food: JunJun really loves ube ice cream.

"Stack 'Em Up": Zeke's chore is to clean the closet.
