Tabes deputizes the Bears so they can go to the city and catch a thief.
Tropes:
- Artistic License – Geography: The return address on Miki-Chan has the area code 91502, which actually belongs to Burbank, CA, which is over 370 miles south of San Francisco's Bay Area.
- Big "NO!": Tabes lets out a frustrated "NO!" when the Bears report that they've interviewed all the suspects but don't have a lead. Turns out it was because Tabes just lost at the Minersweeper-like game she was playing.
- Construction Zone Calamity: The bears find the fox and her kits inside an abandoned building, which unbeknown to them was about to be demolished. They have to escape as the building is destroyed all around them.
- Cutaway Gag: Ranger Martinez angrily reminds Tabes that she's not allowed in the downtown area anymore after what happened last time. Cut to Tabes rescuing a baby quail from the middle of the street, having caused a massive traffic accident in the process.
- Friend-or-Idol Decision: With the building seconds from coming down, Panda chooses saving the baby fox over Miki-Chan...of course Miki-Chan is just a pillow, and is easily recovered later.
- Lock-and-Load Montage: The Bears get a brief montage of them suiting up as the "Bear Squad".
- Monster Is a Mommy: The reason the fox was stealing was to provide for her kits, which she has secured inside an abandoned building.
- "YEAH!" Shot: The episode ends on one as Tabes, the Bears, and the foxes celebrate Miki-Chan being saved.
