After being rescued at a farmer's market, Panda believes he has found the woman of his dreams.

- "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Grizzly tells Panda if he had just told them that he wanted to spend time with Lucy alone, he and Ice Bear would have happily gotten out of his way.

- Plot Allergy: Panda's peanut allergy both kicks off the plot and closes it: he accidentally eats a nut-filled cookie, which allows Lucy to enter the picture to save him, and he later accidentally eats a Thai noodle salad which brings the titular date to an end.
- Poor Communication Kills: Grizzly points out that the entire conflict could've been avoided if Panda had just communicated with him and Ice Bear about his feelings for Lucy.
- Refuge in Audacity: Grizzly and Ice Bear are confused as to how to save Panda from his allergic reaction. Grizzly suggests giving Panda food to cancel out his allergies. Grizzly ends up eating people's food and lets his appetite take control of Panda's life-threatening situation.
- Rescue Romance: Panda falls in love with Lucy after she gives him an Epipen shot to treat his allergic reaction to peanuts.

- What the Hell, Hero?: Ice Bear gives a silent one to Grizzly after he is completely shocked and taken aback by Grizzly's inaction towards saving Panda.
