Having successfully initiating the loop. Fuuko Izumo appears in 1972 to save a young Akria Kuno from touching G-liner which would have given him Unknown. Having made intense preparations, she begins to reform the Union better than ever before and avert the tragedies that befell the Negators.

Tropes:

  • A Day In The Lime Light: Previously, older generation negators (age-wise or prior to Fuuko and Andy joining the Union) only had relatively brief exposure outside of certain arcs. Now that Fuuko has started another loop, many of these characters (Gina, Ichico, Nico) are front and center, due to Fuuko having been reintroduced in 1972.
    • This also extends to negators who we had previously had little to no time focusing on their character, backstories, etc. For instance, Void Volks appeared in only two chapters outside of flashbacks and had little character outside of being Union muscle sent to kill Fuuko. In this arc, he gets more fleshing him out in a single chapter than everything that came before.
  • Applied Phlebotinum: The Union symbol on Fuuko is revealed to be this. While shown as a communicator in the previous loop and ubiquitously as the Union symbol on a lot of their tech, there's something in it which allows the Psycho Pod (which Nico and later Chikara used to float around) to operate.
  • In Spite of a Nail: Originally, Akira Kuno came into contact with G-Liner after the artifact was spawned as a reward from one of the quests. However, Fuuko didn't start quests until after stopping him from coming into contact with G-Liner.
  • The Kindnapper: Fuuko has been kidnapping people from the previous Union as both Bau and Nico briefly discuss when building the Psycho Pod. Since we know how Fuuko is and why she's doing so, it falls under this.
  • Recruitment by Rescue: This is the Fuuko's MO for the negators. Except for Akira Kuno, they are all fated to get their powers and that would normally coincide with a tragedy. Fuuko desires to build up the Union, but desires to avert the tragedies through her intervention.
  • Set Right What Once Went Wrong: Fuuko's is determined to fix all of the tragedies that the negators went through. However, what is notable is that she also intends to do this for people like Sean,(who attempted to kill her and did so in the original Bad Future) Feng, (who attempted to kill her and Mui to make their loved ones stronger) and Ruin (who did nearly kill her and follows God's will). Not an easy task as if she comes out with everything she knows, there is a large chance certain things like Nico and Ichico's relationship will be prevented from happening.
  • Time Travel for Fun and Profit: Using her knowledge from the artifacts, Fuuko is able to find land rich in natural resources to earn money to fund the Union.
  • Time Skip: While there are brief flashbacks, showing what Fuuko did after emerging from the Ark, the arc resumes from 1972 where Akira Kuno would have become Unknown and her preventing him from doing so, despite her starting the loop in the 1800s.
    • Invoked Trope by Fuuko later in the arc. The Union leader can choose to pass on available quests which in addition to another rule being added, the world outside the roundtable skips forward a year. She utilizes this 26 times as a way to bridge the gap between the older generation of Negators to the later ones and also to get the rewards she needs without risking anyone dying in said time period.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Fuuko full stop. First demonstrated when her new Union goes to prevent Gina's Unchange from killing 40,000 people and she's attained a new level of control over Unluck to the point where she can impart it onto objects and uses it to defeat UMA Heat. This is then followed by besting Feng with nothing more than her Unluck and a moderate level of martial arts (although moreso the former than the latter).
  • You Can't Fight Fate: As revealed by Fuuko, Negators (at least the original ones) are fated to get their powers even if circumstances surrounding their past changes. The only aversion to this is Akira Kuno since he only became a negator through touching G-liner.
