Tigtone and Helpy find themselves trapped in a labyrinth where they are not allowed to kill anyone! Whenever Tigtone kills someone in the maze, the Demon Lord resets the whole place again and Tigtone and Helpy are forced to restart the whole thing. When Tigtone can't help but keep killing and restarting the maze, and not even death can free them, Helpy begins to get fed up with Tigtone and goes berserk.
  • And I Must Scream: Not even death can free yourself from the maze. When Helpy goes off the deep end and brutally mauls Tigtone to death in the vain hope of escape, he (along with Tigtone who gets ressurected by the Demon Lord) are teleported back to the center of the labyrinth. Tigtone and Helpy eventually weaponize this to take down the Demon Lord. They trap him in an endless ressurective loop of everyone in the maze being slaughtered in a rube-goldberg esque device that eventually ends with the Demon Lord forcing himself to commit suicide — and resetting the maze causing the proccess to begin again and again.
  • Back from the Dead: When the maze restarts, everyone in it returns to their original position, including those who have been killed.
  • Darker and Edgier: With Helpy enduring a Sanity Slippage and murdering Tigtone in cold blood, the horrifying And I Must Scream scenario everyone is a victim to, along with the general bleak and hopeless tone of the maze; this episode stands out as being one of the most overtly dark in the show.
  • Easily Forgiven: Tigtone does not hold it against Helpy for killing him, likely because he is aware that their torment is mostly his fault.
  • Holier Than Thou: The titular Demon Lord constantly mocks Tigtone for murdering and stating that all life is beuatiful. However, it becomes clear that the Demon Lord is just saying this to drive the two into insanity as he cruelly goads Tigtone to murder him at the end of the maze just to restart the process again.
  • In Medias Res: The episode already begins with Helpy and Tigtone being trapped in the maze for quite some time.
  • The Maze: The main location of the episode.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: How Tigtone and Helpy manage to outwit and escape the Demon Lord's maze. After figuring out the mechanic's of the maze's resurrective loop (whoever murders is the one who gets sent into the start of the maze with everyone being reset) Tigtone tricks the Demon Lord into again offering him a knife to murder the latter — only for Tigtone to shove the weapon into the Demon Lord's neck with his own hands, which in turn sends the lord to the start of the maze instead and allowing the duo to finally escape.
  • Rage Breaking Point: After potentially hundreds of loops caused by Tigtone's urge to murder every enemy they have come across, Helpy loses his mind and bites off Tigtone's throat in a fit of blind rage.
