- Picky People Eater: When Janet gets stuck in the tree, the Kanamits argue over whether they should take her without her leg. One of them replies that the leg is the best part.
- Stealth Sequel: This episode is revealed to be a sequel to the original series episode "To Serve Man", as it turns out that instead of eating them, the Kanamits keep most of the humans they take with them to their planet as livestock to raise their young.
