- Dramatic Dislocation: Miss Parker dislocates her own thumb in order to escape a set of handcuffs.

- The Un-Reveal: Miss Parker goes to visit her father's office, at a point when he's so far been a sinister off-screen presence. There's someone sitting in his high-backed chair, but when the Chair Reveal comes it's not him.
- We Named the Monkey "Jack": Jarod spends some time working with alligators, and names the one with the largest teeth "Miss Parker".
