Miss Parker catches up to Jarod in Florida just as a hurricane hits, and they're forced to sit out the storm together.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Chair Reveal: Miss Parker goes to see her as-yet-unseen father in his office, and his high-backed chair swivels around to reveal... Mr. Raines sitting in it, making it both a straight chair reveal of Raines going behind Mr. Parker's back to talk to Miss Parker and an un-reveal for Mr. Parker's appearance.
  • Conveniently Placed Sharp Thing: Miss Parker employs the 'crushed hand' variant when she dislocates her own thumb to allow herself to slip out of a set of handcuffs.
  • Double-Meaning Title: "Keys" is set on an island in the Florida Keys, and also has a theme about people finding keys to their pasts.
  • Dramatic Dislocation: Miss Parker dislocates her own thumb in order to escape a set of handcuffs.
  • Good News, Bad News:
Pat: I got good news and bad. Bridge is washed away, power is out, phone lines are down, we're just gonna have to ride out the storm here.
    Jarod: What's the good news?
Miss Parker: [*Click* Hello] That is the good news.
  • He Went That Way: Sydney nearly catches Jarod, but is misdirected by somebody Jarod helped earlier in the episode.
  • The Un-Reveal: Miss Parker goes to visit her father's office, at a point when he's so far been a sinister off-screen presence. There's someone sitting in his high-backed chair, but when the Chair Reveal comes it's not him.
  • We Named the Monkey "Jack": Jarod spends some time working with alligators, and names the one with the largest teeth "Miss Parker".
