Michael gets kicked out of the bar when he tries to impress a friend of Jim and Pam's. Andy and Erin tries to keep their relationship under wraps.

- The Bus Came Back: Pam physically returns after 3 episodes.
- Can't Act Perverted Toward a Love Interest: Andy towards Erin during work so nobody suspects they're going out.
- Casanova Wannabe: Date Mike pretty much ruined his chance to date Julie. Somewhat subverted as he managed to flirt with the bar manager Donna just fine without being "Date Mike".
- Hidden Depths: Creed turns out to be quite skilled at DanceDanceRevolution as he scores perfect combos with the crowd watching him. (Although the game is actually Pump It Up, a Korean variation of DDR with the arrows on the corners rather than the compass points.)
- Laborious Laziness: After being told that whoever can beat Michael's push-up record can go home early, the out-of-shape Stanley immediately begins doing them (and succeeds!), even though the push-ups are much more effort than just working the remaining hour.
- Love Triangle: Dwight is in this with Isabel and Angela, going as far as weighing in who has the advantage.Dwight: Angela versus Isabelle. Height, advantage Isabelle. Birthing hips, advantage Isabelle. Remaining childbearing years, advantage Isabelle. Legal obligation, advantage Angela.
- Oh, Crap!: Jim and Pam when "Date Mike" ruins the fate with Julie.
- Stout Strength: Stanley is the only one who managed to complete Michael's challenge to do more than 25 push-ups (and one girl push-up).
- You Were Trying Too Hard: "Date Mike", Michael's so-called dating persona, ruins his chances with Julie, despite Michael managing to get along really well with Julie earlier when he was not aware he's on a date and manages to impress Donna.
