Critic: LUCAS! (fondly) Darling... - Everybody Do the Endless Loop: "That's right, Princess, move that one leg! Pull off the drowning geriatric look!"
- Hypocritical Humor: The Critic criticizes how the show forgot to add backgrounds at least seven times during its run, but then goes on to condemn people who think having just a plain white background behind them is acceptable... while he has a plain white background behind him.
- Innocent Innuendo:Critic: I love whores. I love everything about them. How willing they are to sell their souls for money, and how cheerful they can be in the process. (pause) Oh, I'm not talking about the people who sell their bodies. No no no. I'm talking about media whores — the people who create stories and ideas solely for the purpose of selling their products.
- Just Eat Gilligan: The critic complains that Kevin could have easily dealt with the Big Bad with his pausing power or the warp zones.
- Mondegreen Gag: The Critic mishears the title as "Captain N: The Gay Master".
- You Don't Look Like You: Lampshaded:Kevin: Simon Belmont? Kid Icarus? Mega Man?!
Critic: Wow! You look nothing like your original designs!
